This huge bronze gamecock statue is in Brooks square, springs. It is funded by generous private donations from alumni donors. The statue was cast and manufactured in San Diego and transported to the Williams Bryce stadium, at the corner of Braff road and George Rogers Avenue. It is made of more than 100 individual bronze castings welded together. Spread its wings, raise its voice and sing, showing its momentum as a cockfight. It has beautiful feathers at its tail, which looks very beautiful. The whole sculpture is powerful and spectacular, giving people a positive attitude.
This bronze gamecock statue is made by wax loss method. We can clearly see the hairs on its body and even can count the number of hair. We can also clearly see the details of its sharp beak, cockscomb and leg joints. Moreover, the bronze material has full color and lustre. It is not easy to fade, beautiful and not easy to damage when placed in the outdoor garden.
