This sculpture is a very classic lion and lioness statue in Copenhagen. It was created by the Danish sculptor Lauritz Jensen, who is considered to be one of the best animal sculptors in Denmark. In 1905, Jason won the Exberg Medal for his work. This sculpture vividly portrays the image of the male lion and the female lion roaring together. We can see them roaring in one direction. The male lion is so powerful that we can feel its rich voice. The lioness squats there and snuggles close to the male lion. It shows the tall image of the male lion very vividly, giving the lioness sufficient sense of security.
The lion and lioness statue in Copenhagen is very vivid. It perfectly portrays the image of animals living in nature, the mutual trust between animals, and the image of facing the enemy together. The classic copper-green color adds to the atmosphere of history. Most of our sculptures of bronze animals are made by the traditional wax loss method. Although the process is complex, the details and texture are clear and natural, which perfectly displays the lifelike sculpture image.
