Andrea della Robbia(1435-1525) was a famous Italian Renaissance sculptor from the Della Robbia family in Florence. He was the nephew of Luca della Robbia and inherited his uncle’s innovation in ceramic glazing technology. He applied glazing technology to reliefs of religious and secular themes, making the sculptures more colorful and durable.
