1. Introduction of Bronze Statue Cowboy

John Wilson Vermillion (1842–1911), nicknamed Texas Jack or Hoot-Your-Eye-Out Vermillion, was a famous gunslinger and historical figure in the American West. He participated in the “Earp Revenge Tour”, chasing the Cockenberg Gang with legends such as Dawkins Earp (Doc Holliday). Known for his accurate marksmanship and tough temperament, Vermillion has earned a place in Western legend. Later, he also crossed paths with the crook leader Soapy Smith and participated in a series of illegal activities in the West. Vermillion’s life was filled with adventure and violence, but also reflected the complexity and multi-faceted nature of the Pioneer West. He was a quintessential figure of his time, both heroic and fallible, and this Bronze Statue Cowboy captures his fortitude and confidence and became a symbol of his Western legend.

The figure in the statue wears a traditional Western-style long-sleeved shirt and trousers, with a belt around the waist and a wide-brimmed hat, showing a typical Western cowboy attire. In this Bronze Statue Cowboy, his right hand drooped naturally, and his left hand held a long gun. The gun shaft was pointed vertically downward, and the butt of the gun was pressed against the ground. His posture was firm and confident, as if he was ready to meet challenges at any time. The figure stands on a round marble base, and the sharp contrast between bronze and marble further highlights the main body of the statue.
