The common hippopotamus (Hippopotamus amphibius), native to Africa, is the third largest mammal in the world, second only to elephants and rhinos. Hippos mainly live in areas with abundant water sources such as rivers and lakes. Although they are large and slow-moving, they are very flexible in the water. This Fighting Hippo Sculpture vividly reproduces the posture of a hippopotamus with its mouth wide open and roaring. Hippos are mainly herbivorous. They seem to be docile, but they are actually very aggressive. Especially when they feel threatened, hippos will use their powerful jaws and huge teeth to attack, making them one of the most dangerous animals in Africa.
This Hippo Sculpture shows the strong dynamics of a hippopotamus roaring. In the Fighting Hippo Sculpture, the hippopotamus opens its mouth wide, revealing its sharp teeth, reflecting its aggressiveness and strength. The skin texture on the surface is delicate and realistic, capturing the texture and lines of the hippopotamus’ thick skin. The sculpture’s head and torso are exaggerated in proportion, especially the hippopotamus’s huge open mouth, which gives people a strong visual impact. Welcome to contact us for more details.
