The North American river otter (Lontra canadensis) is an aquatic mammal that lives in North America, mainly in Canada, the United States and parts of Mexico. They often live in freshwater rivers, lakes and swamps, and feed on fish, crustaceans and aquatic invertebrates. The North American river otter belongs to the family Mustelidae, is good at swimming and diving, and can stay underwater for a long time. They have a streamlined body shape, short and powerful limbs, and a long tail that not only helps them maintain balance in the water, but also serves as a propeller when swimming. This Sea Otter Garden Statue vividly reproduces the posture of the North American river otter hunting in the water. The thick fur of the river otter is highly waterproof, which helps them maintain body temperature and is a survival weapon in cold waters.
In the Bronze Otter Sculpture, two river otters are chasing a fish in the water, with agile movements and flexible twisting of their bodies, showing their agility and vitality when hunting in the water. The Sea Otter Garden Statue is made of bronze with a smooth surface, which gives the river otter’s body a natural streamlined feeling, especially the movement in the water appears lifelike. The otter’s posture blends in with the surrounding environment, as if it is swimming in real water and catching fish. Welcome to contact us for more details.
